Every year, Mission Wihtout Borders delivers thousands of boxes filled with food and Christmas treats to families in need across Eastern Europe through our Operation Christmas Love program.
In 2021 we are striving to deliver over 42,000 boxes - the most ever - to share the joy of Christmas with families that are struggling to make ends meet, let alone provide any 'extras' for Christmas.
Packed by local staff and volunteers, Operation Christmas Love boxes are filled with local food and treats to give families the chance to celebrate Christmas with food they otherwise wouldn't be able to afford.
The last two years have been especially hard for the families Mission Without Borders serves as the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing restrictions have stripped families of any of the meager economic opportunities that were once available. As parents struggle to find consistent work, many are left searching for help to provide basic necessities like food and heat for their families.
