Thanks from summer camp

Summer 2021 has been extra special as kids returned to summer camp after a long, difficult year that saw many isolated from school, sports, friends, and family due to the pandemic.

Thanks for helping make summer camp memories

The past year has been hard for so many reasons. That's why when MWB was able to host its Summer Camp program for 2021, both staff and the children we serve could hardly contain their excitement!

Last summer we had to cancel most of our camps due to the pandemic and that took a real toll on the children and their families. Summer camp is often the only chance for kids to get away from some pretty tough circumstances, take some time to play, make new friends, and just have some fun.

Summer Camps provide opportunity for swimming, crafts, drama, soccer, games, and to learn valuable lessons from the Bible while getting a chance to share their stories with each other. Camp coordinators are able to mentor and teach while instilling hope in the kids as well.

Thanks to the support of our donors, Mission Without Borders is able to run the camps at no cost to the families. That takes away the financial barrier many of the families face, giving their children opportunity to enjoy a experience they otherwise would not be able to afford.

Click here to watch a video of the kids describe what makes camps special to them as well as express their gratitude for making the camps something they can all enjoy and look forward to.
